Dead Man's Cellphone (2019) was a eye-opening experience for Blake. As lead electrician, for the first time, he ordered all gel, texture, and led a crew of 7 electricians on the load in of 83 conventional fixtures (Source Four ERS, Source Four Par, and 8" Fresnel), 7 intelligent LED fixtures (Color Source RGB Par), and 2 moving LED fixtures (Rush MH6 Wash). Not only did we work with intelligent fixtures, but he coordinated the construction, hang, cabling, and programming of 11 LED buttons and one large LED screen. These "buttons" were illuminated by the use of 24v LED RGB strips that were controlled through the lighting console that is used at Ball State (ETC Element).
