Rosemary and Time (2019) is another show that I designed in the Cave Theatre at Ball State University.

Rosemary and Time was a new work written by a student at Ball State, Emma Rund. This play featured the all-too-common disease of Alzheimer's in the main female role (Rosemary). Her family comes over for Thanksgiving Day in order to celebrate the holiday, but it comes to light that they didn't really come to visit for the holidays. Things unfold rather quickly, and goodbyes have to be said faster than imagined.

In this play, Rosemary has many flashbacks where the world she believes she is living in, is not quite reality. Blake physically created two different worlds (one that Rosemary lives in, and one that her family and friends live in) by using 2 distinctly different face light systems, a cool and a warm. In Rosemary's mind, everything is cold and distant because everything is out to get her, while in reality, everything is going to be okay, and it's all warm, with a fuzzy feeling.
